When I talk with website owners who are starting to market their websites with article submissions and ask them what they hope to achieve, most of the time they will reference one or more of these benefits:

A better ranking in search engine results for their primary keywords, an increase in traffic from people clicking the links in the articles and finally, building a reputation as an expert in their field.

In my opinion, the greatest reward of Article Marketing comes in terms of SEO-having a higher search engine ranking for your keyword terms.

Any SEO techniques intended to drive traffic are aimed at getting your target audience to notice you. One of the things that you can do with article marketing is to get your website into the consciousness of your prospective audience or market by putting your content where they are the most likely to see it.

Like anyone else, your target market searches for information online with Google and other search engines.

Especially if you own a business, you want your site to appear among the top results for the search terms your audience is likely to use. When your site appears near or at the top of these results, it is much more likely that your potential readers or buyers will find and visit your website. These visitors are known as targeted traffic.

Targeted traffic is exactly what you want – these are the people who are the most likely to be interested in what your site has to offer. The following SEO techniques are ones which can help your site to get a higher ranking in the search results returned by Google and other engines:

1- Figure out what your keywords are. Your keywords are not only words that classify the content of your website, but they are the very words that your target market most often types into Google when they are searching for a site like yours.

Once you’ve done your research and have identified these words, you can begin incorporating these words and phrases into your content. You may already know what keywords you want to use, but it’s well worth your while to do some research using one or more of the many free and commercially available tools like Word Tracker, Keyword Discovery, Google Keywords and Overture, to name a few.

2- Write articles on the topic of your website. Oftentimes as you’re writing you will naturally use your keywords in your article, title and resource box, but it may be helpful to read back over your article after you’ve finished writing it, and see if there are any places where it would be appropriate to subtly use your keyword terms.

While using keywords is important, it is less so than making your articles readable. Write for human readers, not search engines. Don’t pack your articles with keywords – this makes them difficult to read and can even cause them to be ignored by search engines. 1%-3% keyword density is plenty.

3- Keep submitting articles regularly. A few per month is fine, but you need to do this each and every month. This is where a lot of website owners fail; but keeping at your article marketing efforts is important if you want to see results.

Article Marketing requires steadiness of purpose, doing the same action over and over again to reap cumulative results that can be quite astounding. The hardest part about writing and submitting articles is just sticking with it-if you can develop consist article submission habits, you can see dramatic results over time.

Malware is a pretty uncommon term, and is not familiar to a lot of users of computer software. Basically, the term refers to any kind of software that has been created to cause harm to its host computer by installing things and doing procedures unknown to the user.

Malware also refers to spyware and adware that does sneaky operations on a computer. Malware is different from viruses. A genuine program that you install which doesn’t run properly because of it?s defects is not malware. Malware programs are more often found in installations that users do themselves, such as messengers, than in installations from software you purchase. Some of the most universal ways that malware installs itself on to your computer is through Rookits and Trojan horses.

Trojan horses, are just as they sound, they are harmful installations that are hidden by seemingly harmless installations. While running these installations seems safe, what the user does not know is that malware is also secretly installing itself at the same time. In order for malware to continue to work, it needs to stay hidden and that is where Rookits come in. Rootkits Make sure that the malware installed on your computer stays completely undetectable, and that it does not show up in your list of system processes.

Once installed, advanced rootkits are tough to get rid of. This is because many malware programs create ‘ghost’ versions of themselves, and whenever the original malware program detects that one of these ghosts has been deleted or deactivated, it quickly responds by replicating the deleted or deactivated files. Also, because the rootkit conceals the actual malware program from your system, whatever defenses your system may have continue going after the ghosts. Thus, the system is stuck chasing down one ghost decoy after another, while the actual malware itself remains untouched.

Some of the commonly known malware installations include Blaster, Sasser, and Mydoom. Another kind of unauthorized and harmful software that is similar to malware has been termed grayware. Unlike malware, grayware is not harmful, and is usually just very very irritating. Grayware is basically just an annoying software that really works to bug you more than to harm your computer, it installs things like unauthorized joke programs and ads in order to accomplish this goal.

These can be quite tiresome and are usually as difficult to get rid of as malware, and therefore are classified along with it. Not only can this software compromise your computers safety, but it can also leave you more vulnerable to other damaging installations. Grayware and malware can also get into your system through codes that are unauthorized by things you plug into your USB ports.

Since it is virtually impossible to keep your system free of malware, you should routinely check for it by using a reputable anti-malware system, such as Microsoft’s Malicious Software Removal Tool. This program — compatible with Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 — can both identify the specific malware installations on your system and assist you in removing them.

For those interested in joining a web design team, Adobe Dreamweaver is a fundamental criteria to achieve professional credentials that are globally recognised.

In order to use Dreamweaver commercially as a web designer, an in-depth understanding of the full Adobe Web Creative Suite (which incorporates Flash and Action Script) is something to consider very seriously. With these skills, you have the choice to become either an Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) or an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE).

To develop into a professional web-designer however, you’ll have to get more diverse knowledge. You will need to learn certain programming skills like PHP, HTML, and MySQL. A good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation and E Commerce will also give you a distinct advantage in the marketplace.

A sneaky way that training providers make extra profits is by charging for exams up-front and then including an ‘Exam Guarantee’. It looks like a good deal, till you look at the facts:

Everybody’s aware that they’re still paying for it – it’s obviously already been included in the overall figure from the college. It’s definitely not free – and it’s insulting that we’re supposed to think it is!

Qualifying on the first ‘go’ is what everyone wants to do. Going for exams one at a time and paying as you go puts you in a much stronger position to qualify at the first attempt – you put the effort in and are mindful of the investment you’ve made.

Do your exams as locally as possible and find the best deal for you at the time.

Is there a good reason to pay interest on a bigger loan than is necessary because you’ve paid early for exams when you don’t need to? Huge profits are netted by organisations getting paid upfront for exams – and hoping either that you won’t take them, or it will be a long time before you do.

Also, you should consider what an ‘exam guarantee’ really means. Most companies won’t be prepared to pay for you to re-take until you have demonstrated conclusively that you won’t fail again.

Prometric and VUE exams are around 112 pounds in the United Kingdom today. Why spend so much more on ‘Exam Guarantee’ fees (most often hidden in the package) – when a quality course, support and a commitment to studying and the use of authorised exam preparation tools are actually the key to your success.

Be alert that all exams that you’re considering will be commercially viable and are bang up to date. ‘In-house’ exams and the certificates they come with are not normally useful in gaining employment.

All the major IT organisations such as Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA or Adobe all have globally acknowledged proficiency programmes. These big-hitters will make sure you’re employable.

Does job security truly exist anymore? In the UK for instance, with industry changing its mind on a day-to-day basis, it certainly appears not.

In times of escalating skills shortfalls coupled with increasing demand however, we can find a newly emerging type of security in the marketplace; where, fuelled by conditions of continuous growth, companies find it hard to locate the number of people required.

The computing Industry skills deficit throughout Great Britain is standing at approx twenty six percent, as shown by the most recent e-Skills investigation. Or, to put it differently, this clearly demonstrates that the country can only locate three properly accredited workers for each four job positions in existence currently.

Accomplishing full commercial IT certification is accordingly a fast-track to a life-long as well as satisfying profession.

Because the IT sector is expanding at the speed it is, is there any other sector worth considering as a retraining vehicle.

Your training program should always include the very latest Microsoft (or relevant organisation’s) authorised exam preparation and simulation materials.

Often students can get confused by trying to prepare themselves with questions that don’t come from authorised sources. Quite often, the phraseology can be quite different and it’s important to prepare yourself for this.

You should make sure you test your depth of understanding through quizzes and mock ups of exams before you take the actual exam.

If your advisor doesn’t ask you a lot of questions – the likelihood is they’re actually nothing more than a salesman. If they push a particular product before learning about your history and experience, then you know you’re being sold to.

If you’ve got a strong background, or even a touch of commercial experience (some certifications gained previously perhaps?) then obviously the level you’ll need to start at will be very different from a trainee who has no experience.

Working through a basic PC skills program first may be the ideal way to commence your IT program, but depends on your skill level.
