I wasn’t really expecting much, but discovering the free daiquiri recipe on the internet certainly opened my eyes to the multitude of ways in which I could astound my friends. We all enjoy the odd cocktail evening. It might be the sophistication, and certainly there’s a sense of style that comes with a cocktail, although I usually find I need a little help in that capacity.

I must admit though that I did come clean and told my friends about the ebook I had got. They weren’t surprised – knowing that I hadn’t always been such a master of mixing! But the great thing was that now they’re stocked up on the daiquiri recipes too, so that we can all host our cocktail parties, enjoying a whole range of fantastic new daiquiri recipes.

But the story doesn’t end there, because no matter how marvellous it was to get hold of a free daiquiri recipe and a whole ebook of popular daiquiri recipes, my reputation for hosting dazzling cocktail parties is now in serious jeopardy since everyone found out that I can’t balance a cocktail mixer and a bottle of rum on my nose whilst pouring a drink. Perhaps I need to search for another ebook…
